Long-time Hillary Admirers Seek Jobs at State Department

It’s revelatory of Hillary Clinton’s character that so many former staffers from her Senate office, her presidential campaign, and her HillPac political action committee are now vigorously competing for jobs at the State Department.

Weeding out the several catty remarks included by Amie Parnes at Politico, you come to this testimonial:

“Of course, a lot of people are applying to work for her. Not only is she an inspiring role model to so many of us, but she is going to be an incredible secretary of state. People want to be a part of that experience,” said Adrienne Elrod, chief of staff to Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-Calif.) and a former Clinton campaign aide.

Parnes notes: “Sources familiar with the vetting process say Clinton is playing a role in the decisions and wants to keep some familiar faces around.”

  1. Who can blame them? This may be the only chance they'll ever have to work for a real, progressive. You know... the kind that believes in equal wages for women AND actually pays them?!

  2. Hey Becky and SYD,

You know, Hillary always emerges victorious, no matter what happens.

These four years are going to be something to watch!
