One-time U.S. vice-presidential candidate Geraldine Ferraro’s funeral Thursday drew hundreds of mourners, including former President Bill Clinton, former Vice President Walter Mondale, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi. Dignitaries joined Ferraro’s three children in offering eulogies.
The ceremony was closed to the media, but attendees described it as a celebration of Ferraro’s life. “It was one of the most beautiful services I have ever seen,” said Texas Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas.
