2016 election

I, Virginia Bergman, pledge not to vote for a male presidential candidate in 2016 just because he's male.

Celebrating the labor movement with Sen. Amy Klobuchar!

Having grown up in a working class family, I wholeheartedly affirm U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar’s Labor Day message posted on Facebook yesterday:

Happy Labor Day! While you're enjoying a family cookout tomorrow (or the final day of the State Fair) don't forget the real reason we celebrate: To honor the history of the labor movement and the men and women who work hard every day building our roads and bridges, teaching our kids and keeping our families safe. Thank you for all you do to keep America moving forward!

We Minnesotans are fortunate to have Amy Klobuchar as our senior United States Senator. Let it be noted here that Klobuchar is the first female to be elected senator in the state of Minnesota, and she is one of the twenty female U.S. senators serving in the 113th United States Congress. Klobuchar's resume is impressive; check it out here.
