Harold Evans at the Guardian (UK) this morning nicely summarizes my major themes posted at Katalusis during Campaign ’08. He spells out the Obama camp’s “under the radar” sexist and racist smears against Hillary Clinton in the primary and goes after the media for its en masse swoon for the One since he first announced his candidacy.
Evans reminds us that thanks mostly to media bias, Americans are tragically being forced to choose between two mediocre presidential candidates to lead our nation in the midst of a global financial crisis and two wars.
Had Hillary Clinton been nominated, she would have had this race wrapped up by now, and Americans could feel assured of competent leadership for the next four years.
Most informed voters are aware by now that whether Obama or McCain wins next Tuesday, it will be a roll of the dice.
Evans' article titled Mad About the One is a must-read.
