Obama’s Great – “Vero Possumus” – Seal Gets No Respect

Visit today to join the hilarity breaking out across the internet and cable news networks in response to the presentation of the newly revised United States Presidential Seal that honors – here it comes – the one and only Barack Obama! Here’s a sample:

“National Review: Audacity defined: Changing the seal of the United States of America and inserting the "O" logo for the American flag and as well as changing "E PLURIBUS UNUM" to "VERO POSSUMUS." (Loosely translated, "yes we can!") I pledge allegiance, to the flag, of the United States of Obamerica...”

Note: Your comments are always welcome.

  1. I thought I'd seen the height of Obama's arrogance...then I saw this travesty of a logo. I know what he's trying to say, but I'm just sure we'll see plenty of photoshopped possums with Obama's smirking face. Poor possums..

  2. Hi Crazy Dreamer,

Thanks for stopping by. Yes, the logo is pretty outlandish - who would've thought?

    Keep in touch.

  3. Crazy! What more is there to say? Arrogant!

  4. Hi Anonymous,

Thanks for sharing your reaction to the Great Seal of Obama. Please do stay in touch.

  5. I read one fruitbat conservative blog that claimed the Obama "seal" was an illegal misuse of The Great Seal of the President of the United States. It isn't illegal.

Furthermore, I reckon most scaredy-cats have never heard of The Ramones nor have they seen The Ramones' logo/presidential seal--the eagle is grasping a baseball bat in one of its talons and used to great effect I might add.
